Currently, I work as the Communications Associate at National Skills Coalition where I give support to the communications department by assisting in developing, editing, and proofreading written, digital, social and video content. I help to provide general communications expertise and assistance that supports NSC’s mission and goals.
Previously, I’ve had the opportunity to work at organizations like the National Head Start Association, News-O-Matic, NASA Goddard, Education Week and PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs. In these positions, I’ve strengthened my reporting, communication and production skills. I’ve also written for my university newspaper, The Diamondback, and founded a Psychology magazine while in community college with the goal to spread awareness.
In 2020, I received a bachelor’s degree in Multiplatform journalism with a concentration in English from the University of Maryland, College Park. Before receiving my journalism degree, I also attended Prince George’s Community College where I received an associate degree in general studies.
